<p><strong>Interventional Radiologist | Sign-On Bonus Available</strong></p><p>Full-Time Position | VHC Health - Arlington, Virginia</p><p>VHC Health is seeking a collaborative and clinically strong Interventional Radiologist to join a comprehensive, growing interventional radiology program providing both inpatient and outpatient services within one of the region's most respected independent health systems.</p><p><strong>Opportunity Highlights</strong></p><p>The incoming physician will join a high-performing Interventional Radiology team providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient procedural services across a broad range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This is a full-time, hospital-based position located on the main VHC Health campus in Arlington, Virginia. The IR program is supported by experienced technologists, dedicated nursing staff, advanced imaging capabilities, and a collaborative procedural environment that continues to expand in both complexity and volume.</p><p>VHC Health's Interventional Radiology service works closely with oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and surgical specialties to provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the continuum of treatment.</p><p><strong>Interventional Radiology Services Provided Include:</strong></p><p>* Oncology</p><p>* Image-guided biopsies</p><p>* Tumor Ablation</p><p>* Y-90 Radioembolization</p><p><strong>Vascular</strong></p><p>* Peripheral angiography and stent placement</p><p>* Thrombolysis/thrombectomy</p><p>* AV fistula and graft interventions</p><p>* IVC filter placement/removal</p><p>* Embolization</p><p>* TIPS</p><p><strong>Non-Vascular</strong></p><p>* Para/Thoracentesis</p><p>* Nephrostomy, Gastrostomy, and Gastrojejunostomy tube placement</p><p>* Myelogram</p><p><strong>Women's & Men's Health</strong></p><p>* Uterine or Prostate embolization</p><p>* Hysterosalpingography (HSG)</p><p>* Fallopian tube recanalization</p><p><strong>Pain and Musculoskeletal</strong></p><p>* Bone biopsies</p><p>* Joint & Spine injections</p><p>* Vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty</p><p><strong>Neuro Intervention</strong></p><p>* Neuro interventional procedures (preferred; at least one physician will support stroke intervention in collaboration with neurology)</p><p><strong>The practice offers:</strong></p><p>* A broad and diverse case mix with strong procedural volume</p><p>* Advanced imaging and procedural technology</p><p>* Dedicated IR support staff and collaborative operational infrastructure</p><p>* Opportunities to participate in program growth and procedural expansion initiatives</p><p>* Strong multidisciplinary referral relationships across the health system</p><p>* A collegial physician culture with administrative support</p><p>* Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits</p><p>* The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and procedural skills, a patient-centered approach, and interest in contributing to the continued growth and advancement of the Interventional Radiology program.</p><p><strong>Candidate Qualifications</strong></p><p>* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology</p><p>* Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology</p><p>* Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)</p><p>* Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia</p><p>* Excellent communication and collaborative skills</p><p>* Interest in multidisciplinary care and program development preferred</p><p>* Neuro interventional radiology skills preferred (at least one member of the IR team must be trained in neuro intervention to support stroke patient care)</p><p></p><p><strong>About VHC Health</strong></p><p>Located in desirable Arlington, Virginia, VHC Health is expanding its physician enterprise with a comprehensive Interventional Radiology program delivering both inpatient and outpatient services.
