<p>Carle Health is seeking additional <strong>BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists </strong>to join our established team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.</p><p></p><p>Opportunity Details</p><ul><li><p>Join an established team of 4 MFM Specialists, 5 MFM APPs, 10 Obstetricians/Gynecologists, 6 Neonatologists, 2 Gynecologic Oncologists, 2 Pediatric Surgeons, a Geneticist with dedicated MFM genetic counseling, a Dietitian, and highly skilled subspecialty midlevel staff</p></li><li><p>Four MFM APP's provide prenatal care, inpatient support, routine diabetes management and care coordination</p></li><li><p>Pediatric specialties available onsite include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral, Pulmonology, Sleep and Genetics; additional consultation services available for Pediatric Infectious Disease and Hematology/Oncology</p></li><li><p>Practice the full range of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, genetic and perinatal consultation</p></li><li><p>Consult-based practice, no requirement for deliveries</p></li><li><p>Large referral base of 50 regional referring OB-GYN physicians</p></li><li><p>In-house coverage for deliveries by OB/GYN Hospitalist, NICU, and Anesthesia</p></li><li><p>Dedicated neonatal and perinatal air and ground transport services</p></li><li><p>In- house genetic counselor</p></li><li><p>90% office practice within Carle Foundation Hospital campus, in-patient responsibilities while on call</p></li><li><p>Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed, Magnet®designated Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal services</p></li><li><p>Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to teach residents through our ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency at Carle Foundation Hospital</p></li><li><p><strong>Excellent benefits package: </strong>health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage</p></li></ul><p></p><p>About Our Community</p><p>Global connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign-Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis and is home to one of the world's great public research universities - the big Ten University of Illinois. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
