<p><strong>St. Luke's University Health Network, the region's largest, most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals is seeking </strong>an OB/GYN Laborist to join our strong dedicated team of physicians providing outstanding patient care in Allentown, PA.</p><p textalign="left" class="text-left" style="text-align: left;"><strong>About the Position:</strong></p><ul><li><p>This position will provide laborist coverage in Allentown, PA.</p></li><li><p>Shifts are structured as 24 hours per call with approximately 7 to 8 shifts per month (full time).</p></li><li><p>The laborist will provide care to OB/GYN patients, provide mentorship to OB/GYN residents and medical students and participate in departmental quality and safety and research initiatives.</p></li></ul><p textalign="left" class="text-left" style="text-align: left;"><strong>About the Department:</strong></p><ul><li><p>St. Luke's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology consists of over 100 physicians and advanced practitioners spread over 40 practice locations.</p></li><li><p>Rapidly growing obstetrical program with over 6,000 deliveries per year across 3 birthing facilities.</p></li><li><p>New state of the art birthing centers located at St. Luke's Anderson Campus, St. Luke's Allentown Campus and St. Luke's Upper Bucks Campus.</p></li><li><p>Repeatedly awarded "Best Place to Have a Baby" in the Lehigh Valley by the Morning Call's Readers' Choice Awards.</p></li><li><p>Full support from a team of Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to provide care for all OB patients (outpatient care, hospital consults, preconception counseling, genetic counseling, diabetes management, etc.).</p></li><li><p>In house 24/7 support from neonatology at each delivering campus with Level III capabilities available at St. Luke's Anderson and Allentown and Level II capabilities at St. Luke's Upper Bucks.</p></li><li><p>Outpatient support for patients and family members provided through St. Luke's Baby & Me Support Center - an innovative facility designed to support patients and their families with support during and after pregnancy (pre-natal classes, lactation support, post-partum behavioral health support, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Fully accredited training programs in OB/GYN and GYN oncology.</p></li><li><p>Ryan Program accredited residency with strong family planning program.</p></li><li><p>Robust GYN surgical volumes spanning all sub-specialties (MIGS, UroGYN, REI, Family Planning and GYN Oncology).</p></li><li><p>Dedicated departmental research efforts supported by St. Luke's Research Institute and Department of Research and Innovation.</p></li><li><p>Academic appointments are available to outstanding candidates through our affiliation with the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.</p></li></ul><p textalign="left" class="text-left" style="text-align: left;"><strong>In joining St. Luke's University Health Network you'll enjoy:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Team-based care with well-educated, dedicated support staff</p></li><li><p>A culture in which innovation is highly valued</p></li><li><p>Work/life balance and flexibility</p></li><li><p>Exceptional compensation package, starting bonus, and relocation reimbursement</p></li><li><p>Rich benefits package, including malpractice, health and dental insurance, CME allowance</p></li><li><p>Teaching, research, quality improvement and strategic development opportunities</p></li></ul>
