<p><strong>Description</strong></p><p><strong>Specialization:</strong><br>Neonatal Perinatal</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p><strong>Practice at the top of your license while having work/life balance!</strong><br><br>Lone Star Neonatology is seeking board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our busy practice covering 7 Medical City facilities in the DFW area. The practice prides itself in delivering quality excellence, strong clinical skills and work-life balance. The NICUs range from Level II-IV, majority being Level III facilities and have a continuous MFM referral base. Our collaborative team consists of skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists covering several Medical City NICUs in the Dallas Metroplex. You would join a collegial team of NICU specialists who are dedicated to achieving the best patient outcomes by implementing and practicing evidence- based medicine.<br><strong>Opportunity Highlights:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Schedule is a rotation of:</p><ul><li><p> 24-hour inhouse coverage (majority) with physician on call</p></li><li><p> 9-hour coverage at facilities with 24-hour inhouse physician coverage</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Proficiency in procedures: PICC line, intubations, etc. preferred</p></li><li><p>NNPs are able to practice at the top of their license</p></li><li><p>Great collaborative culture both between neonatal team and larger care team</p></li></ul><p><strong>Incentives/Benefits Package</strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive compensation and benefits package</p></li><li><p>Benefits include medical, dental, vision, parental leave, and 401(k)</p></li><li><p>Occurrence based Malpractice insurance covered</p></li><li><p>No state or local wage tax in Texas</p></li><li><p>Flexible scheduling offering work/life balance</p></li></ul><p><strong>Overview of Medical City Arlington:</strong></p><ul><li><p>433-bed, acute care hospital in South Arlington</p></li><li><p>Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) beds</p></li><li><p>Level III Maternal Designation</p></li><li><p>33 medical/surgical rooms, including 14 antepartum rooms</p></li><li><p>23 labor and delivery rooms</p></li><li><p>3 C-section operating rooms</p></li><li><p>GME teaching hospital</p></li></ul><p><strong>About Arlington, TX:</strong><br>Arlington is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, just 10 minutes from DFW International Airport, and boasts year-round events, activities and destinations, such as Six Flags Over Texas, a large amusement park, and the city is home to the Texas Ranger of Major League Baseball and the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
