Neonatal PA Opportunity at Level III NICU in Illinois

Carle Health is seeking<strong> Neonatal </strong><strong>Physician Assistants </strong>to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.<ul><li>Full-time and part-time positions available</li><li>Join a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists</li><li>48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unit</li><li>Dedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverage</li><li>Schedule will consist of a combination of 10-24 hour shifts, depending on experience</li><li>600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per year</li><li>Attend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as: intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, Umbilical Catheterization, and chest tubes</li><li>Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team</li><li>Flexible schedule including evenings/nights and holidays</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree in Physician Assistant</li><li>PA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PA</li></ul><p><strong>Licensure/Certification Requirements:</strong></p>Current Illinois physician assistant licensure
