This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, academic environment involving medical students, residents and fellows who are committed to excellence in patient care.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications</strong></p></li><li><p>Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team</p></li><li><p>Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects</p></li><li><p>Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards</p></li><li><p>Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of care</p></li></ul><p><strong>Opportunity Details:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Night Shift-</strong> 3-12 hour shifts/week, 7pm-7am.</p></li><li><p>Shift differential of $125 per shift</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans</p></li><li><p>401K Plan with 4% match after one year</p></li><li><p>CME days plus allowance</p></li><li><p>Paid malpractice</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Acute Care Nurse Practitioner</p></li><li><p>Acute Care, Cardiology, GI and/or Inpatient experience is highly desirable</p></li><li><p>Current State of Arizona license or in process</p></li><li><p>DEA with prescriptive authority required</p></li><li><p>Open to New Graduates with Related Experience</p></li><li><p>Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Banner Health and University of Arizona Health Network have come together to form Banner - University Medicine</strong>, a health system anchored in Phoenix and Tucson that makes the highest level of care accessible to Arizona residents.
