<p><strong>OB/GYN Nocturnist - Houston Methodist Willowbrook</strong></p><p>Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a <strong>Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist</strong> to join our growing team at <strong>Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital</strong>. This position is primarily based at the Willowbrook campus and focuses on <strong>overnight, in-house coverage</strong> supporting Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics services.</p><p>As a full-time employee of Houston Methodist Physician Organization (HMPO), you will enjoy a <strong>competitive salary, shift-based compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package</strong> within a respected academic health system.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology</li><li>Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients independently</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset</li><li>Prior experience as a nocturnist or hospital-based OB/GYN preferred</li><li>Interest in resident education and supervision preferred (but not required)</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide <strong>overnight, in-house OB/GYN coverage</strong> for Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergency gynecologic care</li><li>Manage laboring patients, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned patients during night shifts</li><li>Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicated</li><li>Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and daytime OB/GYN teams to ensure continuity of care</li><li>Supervise and support OB/GYN residents during overnight shifts, as applicable</li><li>Participate in quality and safety initiatives related to obstetric care</li><li>Night shifts are structured and scheduled to support work-life balance; weekend and holiday coverage included per nocturnist schedule</li></ul><p><strong>About Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital</strong></p><p>Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is a not-for-profit, faith-based, 358-bed hospital located in Northwest Houston.
