<p>Carle Health is seeking a<strong> BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist</strong> physician to join our established practice in<strong> Urbana, Illinois. Candidates interested in both full-time and part-time work are welcome to apply.</strong></p><p><br>Opportunity Details</p><ul><li><p>Established multi-specialty practice that includes BC/BE OB/GYNs, OB Hospitalists, Midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers</p></li><li><p>24-hour in-house call coverage with 3 physicians (2 general OB/GYNs and 1 OB hospitalist) and 1 CNM. Monthly call for a 1.0 FTE position is 4, 24-hour shifts</p></li><li><p>Admit to only one hospital - Carle Foundation Hospital</p></li><li><p>24-hour dedicated Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage</p></li><li><p>State-of-the-art, family-oriented L&D unit with 5 private triage rooms and 7 spacious fully-appointed LDRs</p><ul><li><p>3 bay OBED, 8 delivery rooms, 3 operating rooms and 4 multi-use antepartum/triage rooms.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>5 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. 24/7 MFM coverage on dedicated antepartum unit adjacent to Labor and Delivery</p></li><li><p>Additional Obstetric support services include</p><ul><li><p>Fetal Care Center (for antepartum surveillance)</p></li><li><p>5 lactation consultants on staff</p></li><li><p>Established Centering Pregnancy™ program</p></li></ul></li><li><p>6 Neonatologists on staff. 24x7 in-house Neonatology coverage. 48 NICU beds. </p></li><li><p>On-site Women's Health sub-specialties: Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecology (including da Vinci © systems).</p></li><li><p>Academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.</p></li><li><p>ACGME- Accredited OB/GYN Residency Program based at Carle Foundation Hospital (participation required; level of involvement tailored to attending's interest).</p></li><li><p>Magnet ® designation.</p></li><li><p>Excellent benefits package; health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage</p></li><li><p><strong>Consideration will be given to candidates desiring balanced OB/GYN, OB dominant, and OB only. </strong></p></li></ul><p><br>About Our Community</p><p>Champaign-Urbana has been defined as a micro-urban community, meaning we have many of the amenities of a much bigger city, with the feel of a smaller town. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
