<p><strong>Oral Surgeon (DDS/DMD) - Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Meridian, Idaho<br><strong>Practice Type:</strong> New Oral Surgery Practice (Supported by SALT Dental Partners)<br><strong>Opening Date:</strong> Targeting end of September 2026 (subject to construction timelines)</p><p><strong>Opportunity Overview</strong><br>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art oral surgery practice opening in Meridian, ID in early fall 2026. This is a unique opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up with strong operational and clinical support from SALT Dental Partners.</p><p>The practice will benefit from a built-in, healthy referral base from established, high-performing pediatric dental offices in the area, including Idaho Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics and My Kid's Dentist.</p><p><strong>Schedule & Growth Plan</strong> </p><ul><li><p><strong>Initial Commitment:</strong> 12 days per month </p><ul><li><p>Starting with approximately 2 clinical days + 1 marketing/referral development day per week</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Near-Term Growth:</strong> Transition quickly to 3 clinical days per week</p></li><li><p><strong>Long-Term Opportunity:</strong> Scale up to 4 days per week as patient volume grows</p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ground-floor opportunity to shape and grow a new surgical practice</p></li><li><p>Strong, built-in referral network from established local practices</p></li><li><p>Support from SALT Dental Partners, including operational, administrative, and marketing resources</p></li><li><p>Modern facility with new equipment and technology</p></li><li><p>Flexible part-time start with clear pathway to full-time schedule</p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation structure (details to be discussed)</p></li></ul><p><strong>About the Location</strong><br>Meridian, Idaho is one of the fastest-growing communities in the country, offering an exceptional quality of life, family-friendly neighborhoods, and easy access to outdoor recreation.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including but not limited to: </p><ul><li><p>Extractions (including impacted third molars)</p></li><li><p>Dental implants and bone grafting</p></li><li><p>Exposure and bonding procedures</p></li><li><p>IV sedation and general anesthesia cases</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and obtain informed consent</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with referring dentists to ensure continuity of care</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation</p></li><li><p>Participate in marketing and relationship-building efforts with referral partners (especially during initial ramp-up phase)</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements (Idaho)</strong> </p><ul><li><p>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school</p></li><li><p>Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program</p></li><li><p>Active or eligibility for Idaho dental license</p></li><li><p>Active DEA registration</p></li><li><p>Permit for administration of IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)</p></li><li><p>Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred</p></li><li><p>Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)</p></li><li><p>Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Willingness to participate in practice growth and referral development</p></li></ul><p></p>
