Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Ortho Hand Specialists

<p>Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists and Advanced Orthopedics, a leading orthopedic health services practice, has built a first-class reputation for the quality of its providers and the top-level considerate care they provide.</p><p>Our growing Orthopedic practice is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join its Orthopedic team and work under our <strong>Ortho Hand Specialists team </strong>in Los Angeles, California. In this role you will provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job description</strong></p><p>Performs diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical assisting, preventive and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a physician. Duties include surgical consultations, ordering and interpreting labs / films and studies and ability to perform office procedures, i.e. wound care, seroma aspiration, and drain removal. This position requires travel to multiple facilities as needed for patient care purposes.</p><p>The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000.</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>* Bachelor's Degree required</p><p>* Graduate degree from an accredited PA program required</p><p>* BLS card for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>* Performs diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a physician</p><p>* Duties include surgical consults, ordering and interpreting labs / films and studies and ability to perform office procedures.</p><p>* Surgical assisting</p>
