The physician will provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and outpatient obstetrical care while working closely with Women's Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadership.</p><p>With no deliveries, surgeries, inpatient rounding, nights, weekends, or scheduled holiday shifts, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while maintaining a consistent schedule and strong work-life balance.</p><hr><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive outpatient women's healthcare, including well-woman examinations, acute visits, reproductive care, and family-planning services</p></li><li><p>Deliver evidence-based outpatient obstetrical care to low- and moderate-risk patients</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health conditions</p></li><li><p>Provide contraception counseling and perform LARC insertion and removal</p></li><li><p>Perform colposcopies, biopsies, and other appropriate in-office gynecologic procedures</p></li><li><p>Provide perimenopausal and menopausal care</p></li><li><p>Order, review, and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing</p></li><li><p>Make appropriate referrals for specialty services, additional testing, treatment, and follow-up care</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Women's Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadership</p></li><li><p>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentation</p></li><li><p>Complete billing and clinical tasks in accordance with organizational requirements</p></li><li><p>Participate in peer review, quality-improvement initiatives, and accreditation-readiness activities</p></li><li><p>Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and medical assistants</p></li><li><p>Practice at multiple outpatient TFHC locations when operationally necessary</p></li><li><p>Comply with HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, HRSA, and TFHC requirements</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school</p></li><li><p>Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program</p></li><li><p>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology</p></li><li><p>Active or eligible Florida medical license</p></li><li><p>Active or eligible DEA registration</p></li><li><p>Current Basic Life Support certification</p></li><li><p>Outpatient OB/GYN experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience with Epic or another electronic health record system preferred</p></li><li><p>Bilingual English and Spanish skills strongly preferred but not required</p></li><li><p>Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and patient-education skills</p></li><li><p>Commitment to providing respectful and compassionate care to diverse patient populations</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Benefits and Rewards</strong></p><p>TFHC offers a comprehensive physician benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, work-life balance, and professional growth:</p><ul><li><p>Competitive base salary with productivity incentive opportunities</p></li><li><p>Medical and pharmacy coverage with low-cost employee premiums</p></li><li><p>Dental and vision insurance</p></li><li><p>$0 employee copays for eligible care received through TFHC</p></li><li><p>Generous paid time off</p></li><li><p>Seven paid company holidays</p></li><li><p>Paid CME days and professional-development support</p></li><li><p>Annual licensing stipend</p></li><li><p>401(k) retirement program with employer contribution after one year</p></li><li><p>Company-paid FTCA malpractice coverage</p></li><li><p>Employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance</p></li><li><p>Short-term and long-term disability coverage</p></li><li><p>Employee Assistance Program</p></li><li><p>Voluntary accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and pet insurance</p></li><li><p>Student loan refinancing and financial-wellness resources</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>NHSC Student Loan Repayment</strong></p><p>Tampa Family Health Centers operates National Health Service Corps-approved locations.
