PA, Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

<strong>Description</strong><br><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>We are seeking a <strong>Physician Assistant</strong> to join our growing <strong>Neurosurgery team in Beaumont, TX</strong>. This position offers a mix of <strong>outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and hospital consult responsibilities</strong>. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have prior surgical, neurosurgical, or inpatient experience.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding neurosurgery practice with strong patient demand and long-term growth potential. </p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments </li><li> Perform post-operative patient management and follow-up care </li><li> Round on hospitalized neurosurgical patients </li><li> Evaluate and manage inpatient consults </li><li> Order and interpret diagnostic studies, labs, and imaging </li><li> Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to coordinate patient care </li><li> Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations </li><li> Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li> Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant </li><li> NCCPA certification </li><li> Previous neurosurgery, surgery, orthopedic, spine, or inpatient experience preferred </li><li> Strong clinical assessment and communication skills </li><li> Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team </li></ul><h3>Schedule & Compensation</h3><ul><li> Primarily Monday-Friday schedule </li><li> Typical clinic hours approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM </li><li> Competitive compensation based on experience </li><li> Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match</li></ul>
