<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of South Florida is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our expanding faculty team. This full-time, 12-month salaried position carries an open academic rank and includes attending privileges at Tampa General Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center serving South Central and West Florida.</p><p>The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists and engage with the local outreach community to advance pediatric otolaryngologic care.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Teaching:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Enhance otolaryngology residency training through a dedicated pediatric rotation focused on complex surgical care.</p></li><li><p>Support resident-led research initiatives in pediatric otolaryngology.</p></li><li><p>Develop a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Program within two years.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Clinical:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to pediatric patients, emphasizing prevention and improved outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate referrals from TGH ER, Brandon Healthplex, and surrounding communities.</p></li><li><p>Participate in CME and community outreach to promote the department's expertise.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Administrative:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contribute to departmental growth and strategic planning.</p></li><li><p>Support educational and research missions through leadership and mentorship.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p><ul><li><p>As assigned by the Department Chair.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>MD or equivalent from an accredited institution.</p></li><li><p>Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology.</p></li><li><p>Eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated excellence in teaching, clinical care, and service.</p></li><li><p>For senior ranks, a record of scholarly achievement and recognition in the field is expected.</p></li></ul>
