<p>Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified <strong>Physician Assistant (PA)</strong> to support services at <strong>Fort Bliss, Texas</strong>, including the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and associated military medical clinics.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, mission-driven environment supporting active-duty service members.</p><p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Monday-Friday schedule</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM</strong></p></li><li><p>No nights, weekends, or on-call</p></li><li><p>Location: Fort Bliss, TX</p></li><li><p>Setting: Soldier Readiness Processing Center / Military Clinics</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's or Master's degree from an <strong>ARC-PA accredited program</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>NCCPA certification (PA-C)</strong></p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>1 year of recent primary care experience</strong> (within last 2 years)</p></li><li><p>Active, unrestricted state license</p></li><li><p><strong>NPI required</strong> (DEA not required)</p></li><li><p><strong>BLS Certification</strong> (AHA or Red Cross, in-person)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>15 days PTO (120 hours) annually</strong>, accrued each pay period</p></li><li><p><strong>11 Paid Federal Holidays</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Sick Leave</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>401(k) Plan</strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Conduct medical evaluations to ensure Service Members are cleared for <strong>mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB)</strong></p></li><li><p>Provide <strong>primary care services</strong>, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment</p></li><li><p>Maintain efficient patient flow, seeing <strong>approximately 4-6 patients per hour (SRP)</strong></p></li><li><p>Administer <strong>Health Risk Assessments</strong> and review medical histories</p></li><li><p>Order and review <strong>labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests</strong>, and follow up on abnormal findings</p></li><li><p>Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice</p></li><li><p>Coordinate care and facilitate <strong>referrals</strong> to specialists as needed</p></li><li><p>Complete accurate and timely <strong>documentation in MHS Genesis (within 24 hours)</strong></p></li><li><p>Respond to medical emergencies, including <strong>cardiopulmonary events</strong>, as needed</p></li><li><p>Maintain productivity standards consistent with Military Treatment Facility (MTF) expectations</p></li><li><p>Participate in <strong>team meetings, case conferences, and quality assurance/peer review activities</strong></p></li><li><p>Adhere to <strong>DoD, DHA, MTF, CDC, and Joint Commission standards and protocols</strong></p></li><li><p>Utilize telehealth and other healthcare technologies as appropriate</p></li><li><p>Comply with all credentialing, training, immunization, and documentation requirements (including timekeeping systems)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><p>401(k)</p></li><li><p>Dental insurance</p></li><li><p>Health insurance</p></li><li><p>Paid time off</p></li><li><p>Vision insurance</p></li></ul><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> In person</p><p><br></p>
