Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

<p><strong>Description</strong><br></p><p>Job Summary</p><p>We are seeking an <strong>experienced Physician Assistant</strong> to join our busy <strong>Urgent Care team in New Braunfels, TX</strong>. The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care experience and a proven ability to manage patients independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions</p></li><li><p>Perform minor procedures, wound care, suturing, splinting, and other urgent care services</p></li><li><p>Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as X-rays and labs</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with urgent care physicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care</p></li><li><p>Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>Licensed PA in the state of Texas</p></li><li><p>National certification (ANCC, or NCCPA)</p></li><li><p><strong>Previous urgent care experience required</strong></p></li><li><p>BLS and ACLS certifications</p></li><li><p>Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work independently</p></li></ul><p>Schedule & Compensation</p><ul><li><p><strong>3 shifts per week</strong>, with <strong>rotating weekends</strong></p></li><li><p>Competitive compensation package based on experience</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, malpractice insurance, PTO, CME allowance, and 403(b) retirement plan with employer match</p></li></ul><p>Why New Braunfels?</p><p>New Braunfels offers the charm of a small town with the convenience of nearby San Antonio and Austin.
