Physician - Neuro-Ophthalmology - Grand Rapids

<p><p>Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our Hauenstein Neurosciences Team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.</p><p>Trinity Health Hauenstein Neurosciences is the areas most well-established, comprehensive Neuroscience Program, located in Grand Rapids, MI. From Epilepsy, Stroke, Parkinsons Disease to Sleep Disorders and Spine Care, Hauenstein Neurosciences is able to treat a wide range of nervous system conditions- all with state-of-the-art technology featuring the latest techniques and a compassionate focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit. Our team of experts is the most experienced in the area, and they will work to design a personalized treatment plan with each patient.</p><p>Practice Features:</p><ul><li>We are West Michigans only Neuro-Ophthalmology program. Providing comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological and medical evaluation of diseases that affect the visual pathways and control of eye movements.</li><li>Services include:</li><ul><li>Diagnosis and treatment of visual problems related to the nervous system.</li><li>Diagnosis and treatment of unexplained or sudden vision loss</li><li>Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing such as visual acuity, visual field testing, pupillary reactivity, color perception, ocular alignment, and optical coherence tomography, among others.</li><li>Comprehensive patient and family education.</li></ul><li>Strong interdisciplinary model of care: RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab.</li><li>We are a national Multiple Sclerosis Society: Partner in MS Care.</li><li>General Neurology visits may be required as your practice builds.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.</li><li>State of Michigan license required at time of employment.</li><li>DEA license</li><li>BLS Certification and maintain recertification.</li></ul><p>This is a great opportunity for the right Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join Trinity Health Medical Group!<strong> </strong></p><p><strong>RECRUITMENT PACKAGE</strong></p><p>As a THMG employed provider, you can anticipate:</p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Starting bonus</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>Full time benefit package</li><li>Malpractice insurance w/tail</li><li>CME funds and licensure support</li><li>403b with employer contribution & match</li></ul></p>
