The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with the candidate's credentials. Opportunity Details: <ul><li>Current faculty is comprised of 4 pediatric gastroenterologists, one nurse practitioner, and 2 registered dietitians </li><li>Clinic: 6 half day sessions | Average of 8 patients/half day</li><li> Procedures: 2 half day block</li><li> Protected Administrative Time: 1 day</li><li> Call: unrestricted night call shared with colleagues (1:4)</li><li> Providers participate in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents, pediatric gastroenterology fellows, and medical students at the College of Medicine-Tucson.</li><li>EMR system: Cerner</li><li>Telemedicine available</li><li>Pediatric hospitalist coverage 24/7 </li><li>Supported by the presence of all pediatric subspecialists including Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Radiology.</li><li>Procedures performed: EGD, colonoscopy, foreign body removal, esophageal dilation, submucosal injection, polypectomy, control of GI bleeding, small bowel capsule endoscopy, pH/Impedance probe, Bravo esophageal pH study, and EndoFLIP. </li><li>Opportunities for research, quality improvement, community outreach, leadership, and administrative activities are available.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>M.D. or D.O. degree</li><li>Arizona medical license obtained by start date</li><li>BC in Pediatrics</li><li>BE or BC Pediatrics Gastroenterology</li></ul>Main Location: Banner- University Medical Center Tucson, 1625 N.
