<p>City of Hope Medical Group Seeks a Reconstructive (GURS) /General Urologist to Join our Growing Team in Irvine, CA</p><p>The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology & Urologic Oncology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified, board certified (or eligible) Urologist with a focus on Genitourinary Reconstruction/Cancer Survivorship and General Urology to meet the needs of our growing Urology program in Orange County, California.</p><p>We invite you to consider an opportunity to join City of Hope, the world-class NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California. This program is one of the top ranked cancer centers in the country, with an international reputation for quality of care.</p><p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p><ul><li><p>The Urologist can look forward to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with a world class, nationally recognized team of medical, surgical, and radiation cancer specialists and other health care professionals. Engage in the care of cancer survivorship patients and help build a comprehensive genitourinary cancer survivorship program, in addition to the care of the regional population at large.</p></li><li><p>The Urologist would be fellowship-trained with a skill set that offers upper/lower genitourinary tract reconstruction, including usage of the robotic-platform, and the medical/surgical management of male incontinence and erectile dysfunction.</p></li><li><p>The Urologist would also be engaged with all aspects of a General Urology practice, inclusive of management of nephrolithiasis and male bladder outlet obstruction. </p></li><li><p> Established and expanding referral base in GU Reconstruction, Cancer Survivorship and General Urology in the region.</p></li><li><p>Collaborative team environment and wonderful colleagues, within an expansive Division of Urology & Urologic Oncology. Join 3 other fellowship-trained Urologists at Irvine. There are 21 urologists in the COH network in Southern California.</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to serve as a faculty for our Genitourinary Cancer Survivorship and Reconstructive Urology Fellowship programs.</p></li><li><p>Access to Xi and SP robotic platforms</p></li><li><p> Clinical site in Irvine, California</p></li><li><p>Generous salary and incentive compensation.</p></li><li><p>Relocation assistance may be available.</p></li></ul><p>Salary Range: $300-350K. <em>The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experienc</em>e.</p><p><strong>City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer. </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to grow a busy clinical practice seeing patients with a broad range of Reconstructive Urology and General Urology.</p></li><li><p>Academic record consistent with appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level at City of Hope National Medical Center.</p></li><li><p>Selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license, in addition to a California fluoroscopy license.</p></li><li><p>Applicants must have a M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and be board certified or board-eligible.</p></li></ul>
