<b>Job Description & Requirements</b><br>Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)<br>StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 10 Pay Rate: $82.45 - $89.25 <br><br><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">This facility is seeking a Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Details and requirements for this opportunity:</span></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 10 hour shifts (10:45am-9:15pm). </span>Flexibility preferred but plan on working Tuesday and Wednesdays weekly and every other weekend, with other shifts schedule around those.</li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Patients per day: </span>Three Patients per hour – Estimated 24 Patients per 10 hour shift.</li><li>Practice setting: Urgent Care.</li><li><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Scope: </span>Urgent Care and “Same Day” visits which are episodic one-off issues, along with Fractures, Suturing, X-Rays, Toenail Removal. Must be comfortable with higher acuity cases, as needed. Emergency Room experience a plus but must be experienced in higher acuity settings. Must have experience with patients of all ages and pediatric patients – birth to death. </li><li>State Licensure: Must have an active California license.</li><li>Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days.</li></ul><br><br><b>Facility Location</b><br>Oakland has it all: a mild year-round climate, world-class arts and entertainment, award-winning restaurants, a yacht-dotted waterfront and a wonderfully renovated downtown area.
