MAKE READY / ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN<strong>Assembler Technician (Make Ready) – Golf Carts & UTVs</strong><p>📍 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM</p><p>We are a 30+ year old established equipment dealership specializing in golf carts, UTVs, and industrial vehicles.</p><p><strong>This is NOT a general labor or entry-level role.</strong><br />This is a hands-on position using tools daily to build, install, and prepare equipment. If you are not comfortable working with tools and following structured processes, this is not the right fit.</p>What You’ll Do<ul><li>Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on all units</li><li>Install accessories (lights, lift kits, seats, electrical components, etc.)</li><li>Perform basic wiring and troubleshoot install-related issues</li><li>Follow manufacturer assembly standards and checklists</li><li>Ensure all units are built safely and correctly before delivery</li></ul>Requirements (Non-Negotiable)<ul><li>Hands-on experience using tools (automotive, construction, mechanical, etc.)</li><li>Ability to follow written instructions and assembly procedures</li><li>Must own a basic set of tools</li><li>Ability to work independently without constant supervision</li><li>Strong attention to detail (zero-miss build expectation)</li></ul>Requirements & Expectations<ul><li>Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be comfortable driving customer units (golf carts, UTVs, etc.) as part of daily responsibilities</li><li>Must have reliable transportation</li><li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and maintain a drug-free workplace</li><li>Must be able to work independently and follow established processes</li></ul>Our Team Standard<p>We hold a high standard for <strong>quality, accountability, and reliability</strong>.<br />We are looking for individuals who take ownership of their work, show up consistently, and care about the quality of what leaves our shop.</p><p>We operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where doing the job right the first time matters.</p>This Role Is NOT For<ul><li>Entry-level applicants with no hands-on experience</li><li>General labor or warehouse-only backgrounds</li><li>Individuals who need constant supervision</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and working on equipment daily</li><li>Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and will include working in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions throughout the year.</li></ul>Hiring Process<p>Qualified candidates will complete:</p><ul><li>Phone screening</li><li>In-person interview</li><li><strong>Short paid hands-on evaluation</strong> to demonstrate basic tool use and assembly ability</li></ul>To Be Considered<p>Please answer all screening questions with detail.<br />Applications with incomplete or vague responses will not be reviewed.</p>
