<div><p><b>Position Highlights</b></p><ul><li><b>Department:</b> Mental Health Clinic</li><li><b>Hours:</b> Full-Time 40 hours per week</li></ul><p><u><span>Summary:</span></u></p><span>A</span><span>s </span>part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Psychologist will provide direct care, including individual (including youth), couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, discharge planning, and psychological testing/evaluations.<p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><p>·<span>Participates in direct care to assess needs and coordinate services to the appropriate population (children, adolescents, adults, and families)</span></p><p>·<span>Provides initial mental health assessments resulting in measurement-based care planning</span></p><p>·<span>Provides brief, solution-focused therapy</span></p><p>·<span>Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to specific diagnoses/presenting issues</span></p><p>·<span>Provide psychological/neuropsychological testing to patients referred</span></p><p>·<span>Participate in care coordination</span></p><p>·<span>Maintains daily/weekly scheduled appointments in electronic records systems</span></p><p>·<span>Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families</span></p><p>·<span>Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including external partners and agencies</span></p><p>·<span>Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner</span></p><p>·<span>Participate in our high-risk program</span></p><p>·<span>Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients ,including LGBTQ+ community</span></p><p>·<span>Participate in supervising psychology trainees in accordance with ABA compliance</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><u><span>Minimum Qualifications:</span></u></p><ul><ul><li><span>Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D)</span></li><li><span>Possession of valid clinical license in Connecticut</span></li><li><span>Ability to diagnose using DSM 5</span></li><li><span>Experience providing direct clinical care</span></li></ul><li><p><u><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></u></p></li><li><ul><li><span>Neuropsychological or psychological testing experience</span></li><li><span>Experience supervising trainees/students</span></li><li><span>Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, etc.</span></li><li><span>Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders</span></li><li><span>Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+</span></li></ul></li></ul></div>
