Performs all procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist. Be the difference.</li><li>Performs respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with the physician's order, departmental policy, and the Respiratory Care Guidelines (RT Consult). May not take verbal orders or modify orders. </li><li>Documents and charges for respiratory care procedures and provides patient and family education.</li><li>Communicates well with supervisors, therapists and technicians. Provides a complete and accurate report</li><li>May perform blood gasses from all sites. Analyzes and reports results.</li><li>Adheres to infection control and quality initiatives.
