If you are a dedicated and professional driver looking for a stable opportunity with competitive pay and benefits, we want to hear from you.</p><p></p><p>As a <strong>FedEx Ground Team Truck Driver</strong>, you will safely and efficiently handle<strong> Over-the-Road (OTR) runs</strong> operating out of the Hutchins, TX area.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable)</li><li>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipment</li><li>Handle <strong>Drop Hook Only</strong> freight – <strong>No-touch freight</strong></li><li>Verify and complete all required documentation and reports</li><li>Maintain accurate daily logs</li><li>Follow dispatch instructions and communicate updates regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issues</li><li>Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Valid <strong>Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)</strong></li><li>1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 years</li><li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) – No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years</li><li>Ability to pass:<ul><li>Background Check</li><li>MVR Screening</li><li>Clearinghouse Login Verification</li><li>Drug Test</li></ul></li><li>Ability to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsement</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and complete required training</li><li>Ability to drive a manual transmission with no restrictions (Preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Benefits</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$0.80 per mile</strong> for the first <strong>5,000 miles</strong> each week</li><li><strong>$0.90 per mile</strong> for all miles driven after <strong>5,000 miles</strong> in the same week</li><li><strong>$2,000 Sign-On Bonus</strong></li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>401K</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Paid Holidays after 1 year</li><li><strong>No smoking in the trucks</strong></li></ul><p>Schedule -<strong> </strong>Tuesday - Saturday</p><p></p><p><strong>Terminal Location -</strong> 1101 E Cleveland St. Hutchins, TX 75141</p><p></p><p><strong>Military and veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.</strong></p><p><span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">Requirements:</span></p><ul><li>Must possess a <strong>Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)</strong></li><li>Must possess <strong>one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience</strong> in the last three years</li><li>Must be able to <strong>pass a background check</strong></li><li><strong>Clean Motor Vehicle Record</strong> – No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years</li><li>Must have or be ready to attain a <strong>doubles/triples endorsement</strong></li><li>Ability to follow instructions and complete required training</li><li>Complete <strong>Background Check, MVR Screening, Clearinghouse login,</strong> and <strong>Drug Test</strong></li><li>Prefer candidates who can drive a <strong>manual transmission</strong> and have no driving restrictions</li></ul>
