<div><p>Job Title: Wound Care Coordinator RN</p><p>Location: Newark Beth Israel Medical Ctr</p><p>Department Name: Develop Innovation & Research</p><p>Req #: 0000236729</p><p>Status: Salaried</p><p>Shift: Day</p><p>Pay Range: $101,489.42 - $132,655.59 per year</p><p><strong>Pay Transparency: </strong></p><p>The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p><p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p><p>The Wound Care Nurse provides clinical consultation services to patients with skin injuries and to those requiring ostomy care,</p><p>This practitioner also educates staff while providing consultative services,</p><p>Formal staff education is provided via the RN and ancillary competency assessment programs,</p><p>RN license</p><p>BSN required, MSN preferred</p><p>BLS Certification</p><p>2 years of experience working in a wound care nurse role</p><p>Experience documenting electronic health record (EHR) data</p><p>Excellent interpersonal communication skills</p><p>Assesses learning needs of a group of employees and identifies priorities</p><p>Plans, designs, and develops learning or performance improvement initiatives to meet identified priority learning needs</p><p>Evaluates, documents, and reports outcomes</p><p>Acts as change agent for departmental or organizational processes</p><p>Serves as a clinical resource for the Nursing Professional Development professionals, nursing staff, and health care providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes</p><p>Disseminates recent innovations and evidence regarding wound and ostomy care</p><p>Links nurses to professional development and other relevant resources</p><p>Provides wound and ostomy education during the RN and ancillary onboarding processes</p><p>Takes a leadership role in creating and executing wound and ostomy topics in the RN and ancillary annual competency programs</p><p>Provides wound care nurse patient consultation upon request</p><p>Oversees the monthly pressure injury prevalence process</p></div>
