SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant

<h5><strong>Role Overview </strong> </h5> <p>We are seeking a hands-on SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant with strong configuration expertise in S/4HANA environments. The role focuses on end-to-end functional delivery across Sales & Distribution and Materials Management, including configuration, requirements gathering, blueprinting, testing, and business engagement. This position supports multiple small-scale projects and requires strong adaptability and direct stakeholder interaction. </p> <h5><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </h5> <ul> <li > <p>Perform hands-on SAP SD/MM configuration and functional solution design. </p> </li> <li > <p>Lead Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes including sales order management, delivery processing, and intercompany invoicing. </p> </li> <li > <p>Configure and support MM processes including purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), info records, and source lists. </p> </li> <li > <p>Conduct business workshops, requirements gathering, blueprinting, and fit-gap analysis. </p> </li> <li > <p>Support SD–MM integration scenarios such as stock transport, intercompany flows, and master data dependencies. </p> </li> <li > <p>Create functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and analytics requirements. </p> </li> <li > <p>Support SAP and non-SAP analytics initiatives from a functional perspective (requirements and design). </p> </li> <li > <p>Work with interface teams on EDI, B2B, and third-party integrations; validate mapping documents. </p> </li> <li > <p>Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams. </p> </li> <li > <p>Engage directly with business stakeholders and guide solution decisions. </p> </li> <li > <p>Manage multiple small project deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment. </p> </li> </ul> <h5><strong>Required Experience </strong> </h5> <ul> <li > <p>10–15 years of SAP experience across SD and MM (combined). </p> </li> <li > <p>Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP SD and MM. </p> </li> <li > <p>Deep knowledge of S/4HANA processes, including Fiori apps and data model changes. </p> </li> <li > <p>Experience in Order-to-Cash (OTC) and procurement processes. </p> </li> <li > <p>Proven experience in SD–MM integration scenarios. </p> </li> <li > <p>Experience supporting SAP interfaces (EDI, B2B, third-party systems). </p> </li> <li > <p>Strong exposure to SAP analytics projects (functional design and requirements). </p> </li> <li > <p>Minimum 5–7 years of US-based project experience. </p> </li> <li > <p>Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills. </p> </li> </ul> <h5><strong>Preferred Experience </strong> </h5> <ul> <li > <p>SAP CRM experience and CRM–SD integration exposure. </p> </li> <li > <p>Experience in multi-project environments with small, fast-moving deliverables. </p> </li> <li > <p>Experience writing detailed functional specifications for integrations and reporting. </p> </li> </ul> <h5><strong>Key Skills </strong> </h5> <ul> <li > <p>SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) </p> </li> <li > <p>SAP MM (Materials Management) </p> </li> <li > <p>SAP S/4HANA </p> </li> <li > <p>Order-to-Cash (OTC) </p> </li> <li > <p>Procurement processes (PR, PO, Info Records) </p> </li> <li > <p>EDI / B2B integrations </p> </li> <li > <p>Functional specification writing </p> </li> <li > <p>Business process mapping & fit-gap analysis </p> </li> </ul>
