The candidate should have expertise in Kafka architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-based deployments. </p> <h5 data-start="389" data-end="414"><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </h5> <ul data-start="415" data-end="919"> <li >Design, develop, and maintain Kafka-based streaming solutions. </li> <li >Build and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and consumer groups. </li> <li >Develop event-driven microservices using Java/Spring Boot. </li> <li >Configure, monitor, and optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability. </li> <li >Implement Kafka security, schema management, and data integration solutions. </li> <li >Troubleshoot production issues, consumer lag, and performance bottlenecks. </li> <li >Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams. </li> </ul> <h5 data-start="921" data-end="941"><strong>Required Skills </strong> </h5> <ul data-start="942" data-end="1414"> <li >5–10 years of software development experience. </li> <li >3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka. </li> <li >Strong expertise in Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry. </li> <li >Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. </li> <li >Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes. </li> <li >Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. </li> <li >Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. </li> <li >Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture. </li> </ul> <h5 data-start="1416" data-end="1437"><strong>Preferred Skills </strong> </h5> <ul data-start="1438" data-end="1555"> <li >Experience with Confluent Platform. </li> <li >Exposure to Apache Flink or Spark Streaming. </li> <li >Kafka certification is a plus. </li> </ul> <p ><strong >Education: </strong> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. </p> </p> </p> </p> </p> </p> </p> </section> </p> </p>
