Job Requirements & Preferences:

  • Availability in New Haven and surrounding areas
  • Availability to work day shift , weekdays and weekends preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Proficient in English , Bilingual preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
  • Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
  • Help with daily care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
  • Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
  • Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed
  • Most importantly: Be a friendly face and a s teady presence
