About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A driver for local yard operations in Plainfield, Indiana. This dedicated position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• Shift: 10-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work arrangement: On-site
• Start date: August 31, 2026

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment during local yard and delivery operations.
• Move and transport equipment in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Perform required light-touch handling tasks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and climbing as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• No endorsements required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
