Job description
School Speech Language Pathologist providing assessment, treatment, and collaboration in a school setting for a 36-week contract in Pensacola, FL. Responsible for student evaluations, individualized plans, and classroom support. Earn competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across multiple grade levels.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with district and state standards.
Collaborate with educators and parents to implement effective therapy strategies.
Document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records.
Provide in-class support and consultation to educators regarding speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or pending CFY certification eligibility.
Ability to pass background checks and standard district screening procedures.
Patience, adaptability, and teamwork orientation.
Mobility within school environment and ability to work with children.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum one year experience in school-based settings.
