Registered Dietitian

Job Description We are currently looking for Registered Dietitians - Competitive Wages, Benefits, & More /n RD is responsible for supporting the daily operations of nutrition & foodservice department, according to facility policy and procedures and federal/state regulations. The candidate must provide leadership and guidance to ensure that food quality, safety standards, and client expectations are satisfactorily met; responsible for department activities, exercising initiative and independent judgment in performance of tasks; and must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to residents, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times. /n Must be: Licensed and Registered Dietitian in Minnesota /n /n MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS: /n /n - Provide clinical dietitian services including but not limited to documentation and participation in community clinical meetings according to current practice standards. /n - Monitors and performs sanitation and safety inspections monthly and as needed. /n - Monitors and performs meal service inspections monthly and as needed. /n - Enforces state and federal regulations. /n - Assist with completion of mock surveys. /n - Assist in projects as needed under the direction of the Director of Nutrition & Life Enhancement Services. /n - Attends and helps with planning and preparation for Dietary meetings. /n - Performs all other duties as assigned. /n /n /n JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: /n Required: Skill in motivating, coaching, and supervising foodservice personnel • Intermediate computer skills • Mathematical and numerical skills; mechanical aptitude helpful • Effective written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated organizational skills • Current awareness of legislation and regulations influencing the practice of standards of care • Licensed and Registered Dietitian in applicable state(s) /n Preferred: Experience in foodservice management • Experience in long term care & SNF setting
