This is a full-time, open-rank academic position in an innovative and growing program that serves as a regional referral center for complex benign gynecologic conditions.<br><br>About the Division of Complex and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. The Division provides comprehensive surgical care for patients with complex gynecologic conditions including, but not limited to, endometriosis, large-volume fibroids, pelvic pain, adhesions, isthmoceles, C-section scar ectopic pregnancies, adnexal pathology, abnormal uterine bleeding, and congenital anomalies. The Division emphasizes minimally invasive laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and/or vaginal surgical techniques and is committed to advancing the field through research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.<br><br>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Provide advanced minimally invasive, laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and/or vaginal surgical care for complex benign gynecologic conditions.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the education of medical students and OB/GYN residents through clinical teaching and simulation training.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives within gynecologic surgery.</p></li><li><p>Engage in clinical or translational research aligned with Division priorities.</p></li><li><p>Support the development of a formal referral program and interdisciplinary partnerships.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Position Status </strong> Full Time</p><p><strong>Posting Number </strong> 26FA0630</p><p><strong>Posting Open Date</strong> 06/23/2026</p><p><strong>Minimum Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>MD/DO degree or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.</p></li><li><p>Completion of a fellowship in Complex Benign/Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery or equivalent.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Certifications/Licenses</strong></p><ul><li><p>Eligible for medical licensure, DEA and CDS in the state of New Jersey.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Preferred fellowship is AAGL-accredited</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarship.</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to interdisciplinary care.</p></li><li><p>Enthusiasm for patient care, medical student and resident education.</p></li></ul><p><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="editor-link" href="https://jobs.rutgers.edu/postings/277677">View full job description here.</a></p>
