One of the most active lower middle-market private equity firms in the country is hiring a Regional Director of Business Development. This role will focus on NYC and the corridor north through Boston and greater New England, building and managing the firm's M&A referral network across investment banks, business brokers, law firms, and lenders, with a goal of sourcing several closed transactions per year. The role reports to the firm's Head of Business Development.

Candidates should have 5-10 years in a business development role, with at least 3 years in financial services or professional services (private equity, investment banking, commercial banking, or similar), a strong existing rolodex in the M&A community, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently.

This position is remote, with the candidate based in the NYC or Boston area and regional travel expected.
