Senior Coding Specialist - Remote TX, Lead & Mentor

Houston Methodist seeks a Senior Coding Specialist to apply coding conventions to patient encounters in a clinical setting. You will abstract diagnoses/procedures from physician records and correct errors in the EHR while reviewing and appealing denials.

Mentoring and cross-training Coding Specialists is also expected. Required are five years of professional coding experience and one of CCS or CPC certifications.
