About the Role:
- Location: Crown Point, IN - 30 mins from Chicago!
- Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in Invasive Intervention
- Ideal candidate will have a passion for PCI and peripheral vascular procedures, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.
- Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
- Flexible, full-time schedule
- Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call: 1: 4
- Required to cover 13 weekends per year
- Average outpatient volume: 8 -12 patients per day
- Average inpatient volume: varies
- Potential for surrounding area outreach
- State-of-the-art labs: Phillips systems which include the Flex vision screens with the most updated software package including clarity software
- availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTA s images on the Flex vision screens
- Nurse Practitioner support

- Common Diagnoses: Abnormalities of Heart Rhythm, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Chest Pain, Heart Failure
- Procedures: Cardiac angioplasty and stent placement, including drug eluting stents
- Rotational Atherectomy
- Carotid Stenting
- Peripheral Vascular Procedures
- Onsite Equipment for Testing
- EKG
- Exercise Stress Equipment
- Holter Monitoring
Candidate Background:
- Board Eligible / Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
- Ability to hold Indiana state license
