What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient consults and participate in outpatient cardiology clinics
• Read EKGs and echocardiograms, interpret results
• Supervise stress testing procedures
• Manage patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, and other adult cardiac conditions
• Assist with hospital rounding and emergency phone call coverage
• Collaborate with support staff including APPs, RNs, and medical assistants

What You Need

• Valid Illinois medical license (or eligible to obtain one)
• Board certification in cardiology preferred
• Proven ability to interpret EKGs and echocardiograms
• Strong clinical skills and team collaboration abilities
• Experience managing adult cardiology patients
