Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or emergency department clinical practice
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Proven ability to drive operational improvement and ED throughput initiatives
• Strong leadership, team collaboration, and communication skills
• Current, unrestricted medical license (able to practice in Kentucky)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care during emergency department (ED) shifts as an emergency medicine physician
• Lead and participate in administrative initiatives focused on improving ED front-end processes, triage, and patient throughput
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, case management, hospital leadership) to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency
