Physical Therapist Assistant, Inpatient or Outpatient

Job Description Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Inpatient or Outpatient Rehabilitation Services departments in Oakdale. /n /n The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides designated physical therapy related services as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and within the scope of licensure and/or training. /n /n This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill (for the inpatient role) or outpatients (for the outpatient role) through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served. /n /n JOB REQUIREMENTS /n /n - Completed Physical Therapy education/training at an approved school and/or approved work experience /n - High school graduate or equivalent required /n - Current California Physical Therapy Assistant certificate or approval as Physical Therapist Assistant. /n - Current BLS certification /n - One to two years experience as a licensed PTA or comparable training/experience for unlicensed PTA /n /n
