Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with clients, setting clear, achievable goals rooted in their unique circumstances. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the specific needs of clients. \n
- Educate clients and their families about the nature of mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and practical self-care strategies to enhance emotional resilience. \n
- Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate a holistic approach to care, ensuring that comprehensive mental health needs are met. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings and case consultations, providing insights and learning from peers to enhance therapeutic practices. \n
In this position, you will primarily serve clients dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. Our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, each seeking guidance and support in managing their conditions. Your expertise will be critical in advocating for de-stigmatization in mental health while promoting client-centered approaches that empower individuals to reclaim their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, with a valid license for independent practice. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work. \n
- A solid understanding of California laws and professional ethics as they pertain to mental health practice. \n
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all legal and ethical standards in documentation and client interactions. \n
- A clean background check through the FBI and DOJ, as well as a recent TB test completed within the last six months. \n

- At least three years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly with clients who have mood disorders. \n
- Experience implementing evidence-based treatments and therapeutic modalities specific to mood disorders. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology, enhancing client engagement and service delivery. \n
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 115,000 and 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
