Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced, energetic Restaurant Manager to join a dynamic, high-volume hospitality operation in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys being present on the floor, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, leading and developing the front-of-house team, maintaining strong service standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant and food & beverage operations
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and actively support the team during service
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
• Ensure consistent execution of service and hospitality standards
• Create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, opening and closing procedures, and daily operational needs
• Monitor service flow and proactively resolve guest concerns
• Partner with culinary and operational leadership to ensure seamless execution
• Maintain standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, and overall presentation
• Assist with inventory, cost controls, labor management, and other operational initiatives
• Support high-volume service, special events, and peak business periods

Ideal Candidate

• Previous restaurant management or food & beverage leadership experience
• Experience within a high-volume, upscale, polished-casual, or hospitality-driven environment
• Strong leadership and team-development skills
• Guest-focused with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy operation
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example
• Ability to maintain high standards while creating an engaging and positive team culture
