Diesel Mechanic Technician

Bjorklund Companies is seeking aDiesel Mechanic Technician. * *A minimum of 1 year experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment or a graduate of an technical school.* Monday-Friday *Job Duties* * Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks and equipment. * Repair and troubleshoot engines such as CAT, Mack, Cummins * Diagnose, repair, all types of trucks and heavy equipment. * Fill out paper work. Document work. * Meet requirements for certifications *Skills and Qualities* *Technical degree or certification a plus* * Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them * Dot Inspection certification. * Solid written and verbal communication skills * Good time management. *Position Requirements* *High school diploma or equivalent* * *A minimum of 1 year experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment or a graduate of an technical school.* * Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs * Must have your own set of tools * Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions * Must Have Valid Drivers License. * Must Be able to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $32.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Experience: * Commercial Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: * Night Shift (Required) * Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Isanti, MN 55040 (Required) Work Location: In person
