Journeyman Pipefitter - Prefabrication, Shop (47112)

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Pipefitter to join our prefabrication shop team. This position will focus on fabricating, assembling, and preparing piping systems before they are transported to the job site. Responsibilities - Read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and isometric drawings - Measure, cut, fit, and assemble pipe and piping components - Perform pipe layout and fabrication in a shop environment - Install fittings, valves, flanges, supports, and other piping components - Tack and fit pipe for welding - Use hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and shop equipment safely - Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality - Prepare prefabricated piping for shipment and field installation - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Qualifications - Previous pipefitting or industrial mechanical experience preferred - Ability to read and understand piping drawings and isometric drawings - Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail - Ability to accurately measure and lay out piping - Welding/fitting experience is a plus - Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, feed mills, or similar environments is preferred - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Must be dependable and safety-minded $100/day Per Diem for candidate who qualify #ITS13
