Job Description Job Requirements: Mechanic certification prefered but not manditoryCDL a plusLift, pull, 40-60lbsCommunicate wellTools Job Description: - Complies with Federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards - Road test vehicles when required, to quality check work performed - Communticate with dispatch to obtain what equipment nees to be serviced/repaired - Maintain a clean working environment - Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs - Keeps shop equipment operating - Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options - Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock - Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and preplacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, pars, or systems, such as power trains, drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics - Completes machine shop operations just to name a few, would be making adjustments, systems, control linkages, clutches, and tration units - Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules - Installing component and part upgrade procedures - Controlling corrosion and completing winterization procedures
