<div><h3>Position Summary</h3> <p>The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall sales, production, and operational performance and efficiency of the Phoenix Location within a multi-location AVL organization. This role provides both strategic direction and hands‑on operational leadership to ensure exceptional execution of multi‑disciplined services. This leader plays a critical role in positioning the organization as a preferred provider in the industry and a top employer in the market.</p> <h3>Leadership & Team Development</h3> <ul> <li>Lead, manage, and develop cross‑functional teams including sales, production, operations, and technical staff in a high‑performance culture to ensure alignment with company goals</li> <li>Oversee recruitment, staff development, training, performance management, and compensation planning</li> </ul> <h3>Operations & Production Oversight</h3> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations in the location and ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, sales support, warehouse, and technical teams</li> <li>Drive efficient scheduling, labor utilization, resource allocation, quality standards, and inventory accuracy</li> </ul> <h3>Strategic Planning & Growth</h3> <ul> <li>Execute regional and company‑wide strategic initiatives</li> <li>Partner with senior leadership to manage annual budgets and growth plans</li> <li>Identify opportunities for market expansion, new services, and innovation</li> <li>Collaborate with other locations to share best practices and drive consistency</li> </ul> <h3>Financial Management</h3> <ul> <li>Oversee cost controls and resource investments as agreed by senior management</li> </ul> <h3>Sales & Client Leadership</h3> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, vendors, and partners</li> <li>Serve as senior escalation point for client issues and ensure resolution</li> <li>Represent the company as a market leader in full‑service production and collaborate installation and box sales opportunities with Integration Team</li> </ul> <h3>Project Execution & Client Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Accountable for full project lifecycle from sales through execution and closeout</li> <li>Ensure high‑quality delivery of projects</li> <li>Maintain strong client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business</li> <li>Monitor and improve project profitability and delivery metrics</li> </ul> <h3>Process Improvement & Compliance</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality</li> <li>Monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies</li> <li>Maintain facility standards, operational workflows, and technical best practices</li> <li>Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and deployment of equipment</li> </ul> <h3>Communication & Collaboration</h3> <ul> <li>Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities</li> <li>Collaborate across regions and functions to drive alignment and operational consistency</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of leadership experience in general management, operations, or production</li> <li>Strong experience within AVL, live events, or production</li> <li>Proven ability to lead multi‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments</li> <li>Strong financial, operational, and analytical skills</li> <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards, safety practices, and emerging AVL technologies</li> </ul> <h3>Working Conditions</h3> <ul> <li>Fast‑paced, event‑driven environment with variable schedules</li> <li>Requires flexibility for nights, weekends and peak event seasons</li> <li>Occasional travel within region and to other company locations</li> <li>Valid driver's license required</li> </ul></div> #J-18808-Ljbffr
